Are you interested in deepening your faith? Would you like to be a part of some smaller groups devoted to spiritual growth? Then Mystic Monday is for you! Join us each Monday evening in Moye Chapel at 7:00 p.m. as we explore faith through Taizé Worship, Knitting Prayer Shawl Ministry, and Praise – Prayer – Potluck.

Mondays, May 3 and 17 at 7:00 p.m. – Taizé Worship. A Taizé Prayer Service consists of music, song, gospel readings, quiet meditation, and chants. If you are seeking time to be quietly apart, to pray and listen to God, and to be in the presence of a worshiping community, this service may be just what you are seeking. There is no sermon, no offering, no choir, no announcements – just simple worship. We gather in the Chapel.

Monday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. – Prayer Shawl Ministry. We gather to create beautiful prayer shawls to share with members of our church family who are ill or grieving or maybe even celebrating a special event in their life. You do not have to know how to knit or crochet – someone will teach you. If you are looking for a ministry of prayer and care for others this may be it. Come and help wrap someone in God’s love by creating a beautiful prayer shawl. As always, the teapot will be on in the chapel.

Monday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. – Praise-Prayer-Potluck. Join us for the opportunity to get to know your church family better and to share food and faith together as we gather for our monthly Praise-Prayer-and Potluck! We meet to hear the faith journey of one of our members as we join around the supper table. This month we are pleased that Tim Knoll will share with us his faith journey. If you know Tim, you know it will be interesting! If you are able, bring a dish to share. Be prepared for a rich and rewarding evening in your community of faith. As always, childcare will be provided!
