Music is a Window to the Presence of the Creator

Music plays an important role in the life of a church. It serves to augment the worship experience through congregational singing and anthems and special music. These reflect on the sermon and readings. The Chancel Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. service each week. The youth choirs share their gifts at regular intervals. The Choirs are featured in the celebrations of the church year and include choral cantatas and all-choir events, such as Palm Sunday and Easter. We invite all who wish to share their gifts to make music. Join us in rehearsal. Church membership is not required. Childcare is provided during Adult Chancel Choir rehearsals.

Learn about CGCC Christian Education, for all ages. Also, check out more music opportunities (e.g., the Young Musicians’ Orchestra and music lessons and classes for ages 8-18, and concerts for children and adults) provided through the CGCC Community Arts Program.
